Saturday, May 2
11am PT, 1pm CT, 2pm ET, 8pm CET

Writer, editor, and book coach Wilhelmina Asaam walks us through the the nuts and bolts of the editorial process for your book project. By the end of the session you'll understand:

  • How to trust your self-edit: knowing when a project is ready to move from drafting into an editorial phase.
  • How to find an editor that's a good fit. What a healthy, productive relationship with your editor looks like in practice
  • Common editorial conversations that arise during the development of a book or publication
  • How the editorial process shifts across different scales of projects—from small publications or artist books to larger manuscripts
