We begin the day with movement exercises guided by Sahra Motelebi.

10:30am—12:30pm
Voice/s Workshop with Sahra Motalebi and Individual Free Write
Participants may use this time to join a workshop led by Sahra Motalebi, work on personal writing, explore Audubon Terrace and neighboring Trinity Cemetery with a guided writing activity, or work from a writing prompt provided by at Louis Place.

Voice/s Workshop with Sahra Motalebi: Moving between our individual and collective vocalities, we find unexpected poetics, multiple modes of expression, and listening as an aspect of the voice itself. No previous artistic or vocal experience required.
12:30pm—1:30pm
Lunch
A simple lunch will be provided and is included in the registration fee. Light refreshments will be available throughout the day. Please note dietary restrictions on the registration form so we can meet your needs.

Generative Session with Ishmael Houston-Jones and Individual Free Write
Participants may use this time to join a workshop led by Ishmael Houston-Jones, work on personal writing, explore Audubon Terrace and neighboring Trinity Cemetery with a guided writing activity, or work from a writing prompt provided by at Louis Place.

Generative Session with Ishmael Houston-Jones: In this workshop we will use several improvisation strategies to open a free flow of immediate, spontaneous writing, speaking, and movement.
